More details about what we do.

Additional Information

  • Steve or Bev (your choice) come to any location you choose in the following areas only: Foley, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan or Perdido Key. (Sorry, we do not travel to Mobile, Dauphin Island or Pensacola Beach.)
  • We officiate weddings and vow renewals on the beach and in churches, homes and special venues.
  • We are ordained, licensed professional Ministers/Officiants. Steve has 30+ years of pastoral experience.
  • We are authorized to solemnize marriages in all states.
  • We perform your choice of a Christian or Non-Religious ceremony which you are welcome to customize, including readings, vows and unity ceremonies (sand, candle, knot, etc.)
  • We offer unlimited email/text/phone consultation and recommendations for wedding locations.
  • We are happy to obtain a State of Alabama Beach Wedding Permit for you if one is required. (The state charges $60. We won't charge anything to get one for you.)  Please note: This is NOT your marriage license. This is a permit allowing you to be married on public beaches.
  • We sign and return your marriage license afterward if necessary.
  • We are happy to put you in contact with professional photographers.
  • All of the arbors, chairs, etc. you see in the pictures on this website are placed by our friends. We partner with the best "set up" companies along the coast and will be happy to put you in touch with some great people!

Helpful Tip: If you hire a wedding "set up" company that can provide an officiant in its package, ask what they charge for the officiant. You can probably bring me for a lot less cost.

Christian couples please note: We understand that most people are cautious about the religious style of a destination minister.  We choose to be low-key and totally non-denominational. Over the years, many couples have noted their appreciation that our Christian ceremonies are faithful but not "preachy." We are both Christian.

Non-Religious couples please note: We understand the need for non-religious, civil ceremonies. We respect everyone's right and honor your point of view. We are happy to perform a completely non-religious ceremony if you like.
