Congratulations on your decision to legalize your marriage in Alabama! We are delighted to offer our assistance through our remote notary services at Bama Weddings, LLC.
ANYONE IN ANY STATE CAN BE MARRIED THROUGH THE ALABAMA SYSTEM!
You do NOT have to live in or come to Alabama!
YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO LEAVE YOUR HOME.
Our goal is to ensure a seamless and successful experience and remain in complete compliance with Alabama law. We require that both spouses be together at the same place on the same device during the video call.
How it works:
1. First, you must complete the Alabama Marriage Certificate online and print it according to the instructions.
2. You must be prepard to present two valid government-issued identification documents, at least one bearing your signature and a photograph. Examples include a driver's license, passport, state identification card, military ID, or pistol permit. Social security cards or state-issued birth certificates can be used as the second ID.
3. You must be able to use the required technology:
- Ensure a reliable internet connection.
- Have a computer or mobile device with a camera and microphone.
- Install ZOOM, a free and secure video conferencing platform, on your mobile device, tablet, or computer.
4. Schedule a Remote Notarization Session:
Contact Steve Horn at Bama Weddings, LLC, by phone at 251-709-5007 to arrange a video session on ZOOM. During the call, Steve will explain the specific requirements and details of the remote notarization process to ensure clarity and understanding.
5. Attend the Remote Notarization Session:
At the agreed-upon time, join the scheduled remote notarization session and carefully follow the instructions provided by the notary public.
During the session, present your identification documents as required and follow any visual recording or additional steps requested by the notary.
6. Sign the Marriage Certificate:
Once your identity is verified by the notary, both parties will be asked to sign the marriage certificate using ink so that the notary can virtually witness the signatures. Kindly note that Alabama does not accept digital signatures.
7. Mail the Marriage Certificate:
After the remote notarization session concludes, please mail the original, signed marriage certificate to Bama Weddings, LLC at the following address: 501 Cotton Creek Dr. Unit 306, Gulf Shores, Alabama 36542. Rest assured, our team will take care of the next steps.
We file your certificate, necessary request forms and pay the county's filing and copy fee with the Baldwin County Probate Judge. Typically, you will receive your Alabama Certified Marriage Certificate within 10 days.
Total Cost: $150. (Includes filing fee of $73)
